For best performance, use a charger capable of at least 1.5 A at 5 V. The pump may charge slowly or even discharge slightly if the power source provides less.

✅ Car & Laptop Use:

Cars: Some vehicle USB ports provide full power (check labeling — many rear ports do, front infotainment ones often don’t). When in doubt, use a 12 V barrel/cigarette lighter adapter for reliable charging.

Laptops: Safe to use on USB-C ports. Older rectangular USB-A ports may not provide enough power to charge while the pump is running, but will still charge it when off.

Does this adapter have a built in battery?

No. While the adapter does not include a battery, it allows you to use most USB power banks to extend your pumps runtime

Can I use this adapter to charge the pump from my car?

Yes, with some restrictions. We recommend using a USB 12V adapter that is capable of supplying 2A. Most USB ports in cars only provide 0.5A`-`1A of the 2.4A the pump needs. This may charge the pump slower than normal, or cause it to discharge while plugged in

Will this charger work with the purple Nutrica Flowcare Infinity pump?

Yes. We have sold multiple chargers to users of the Nutrica Flowcare Infinity pumps in Australia, and have had no reported issues with them

Will this charger work with the regular/teal Infinity Pump?

Yes. While I have not personally tested it on the regular Infinity Pump, both pumps use the same charger and have the same power requirements according to all documentation provided by Moog

Will this charger work with the Infinity Orange Pump?

Yes. This was designed and tested with my son's Infinity Orange Pump

Will you release versions with Lightning or Micro USB connectors?

No, USB Type-C is quickly becoming the dominant standard for charging. In fact, upcoming legislation in the EU is requiring Apple to replace the Lightning connector with USB Type-C on all devices sold starting in 2024

This is my second adaptor that i have bought. I bought this one in hot pink to keep in my hospital bag. It is bright enough to stand out if i drop it (my hands don't always work well when holding things) and makes traveling with my pump a MILLION times easier.

This is perfect. Sometimes I need to charge my pump when I'm at work. But the charger the pump comes with is so huge. I have to bring it in a separate bag it's so big but this just slips into the pocket of my back pack and my charging cord is easy to wrap up and put in the pocket too. I'm so glad I found this. As a tubie parent, this item is perfect! I put this, along with a c-type charger in our go-bag, it takes up very little space compared to the bulky charger of the pump, and I don't have to worry about unplugging our pump every time we leave the house. We just used it for the first time and it was nice that it also doesn't get in the way and have to be plugged in a specific way in the outlet like the bulky charger does. 10/10 recommend!!
